What is Rotary?

Rotary International unites more than a million people in 28,000 Rotary clubs in 170 countries. Through Rotary clubs, people from all continents and cultures come together to exchange ideas, and form friendships and professional connections while making a difference in their backyards and around the world.

For more than 110 years, Rotarians have bridged cultures and connected continents to champion peace, fight illiteracy and poverty, promote clean water and sanitation, and fight disease.

"Service Above Self" is the motto of Rotary.

Rotarians throughout the world quote the Four Way Test:  Of the things we think, say or do:

  1. Is it the TRUTH?

  2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?

  4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
